Bureau Veritas Australia & New Zealand has taken a significant step towards sustainability by installing 810 solar panels across four buildings at their world class commodities laboratory in Wingfield, Adelaide.
The solar system makes a substantive difference in reducing carbon pollution; abating over 140 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year; the equivalent of:
- Powering over 120 houses with clean, sustainable solar energy; or
- Planting 800 trees.

The rooftop solar PV system consists of 81 solar ‘pods’ for a peak power output of 423 kW. The prefabricated solar pods were installed by Solpod in only 2 days.
