OBJECTIVES
By the end of this two-day course, participants will be able to:
• Understand the principles, types, and purpose of internal audits within the food safety context.
• Explain the internal audit requirements across major GFSI-recognized food safety schemes (e.g. SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000).
• Conduct internal audits, including planning, execution, reporting, and managing corrective actions.
• Identify non-conformities and apply risk-based approaches in audit scheduling and reporting.
• Develop effective audit checklists and evaluate audit findings.
