WORKFORCE OF THE FUTURE
EARLY CAREERS PROGRAMS
At Bureau Veritas, we’re committed to supporting people at the beginning of their careers — whether you’re a recent graduate, transitioning into a new profession, or exploring opportunities to build practical industry experience. Our early careers pathways are designed to give you the foundation, exposure and confidence to grow into a meaningful and rewarding career.
Across the Pacific region, we offer a range of opportunities for graduates, apprentices, traineeships, interns, and early-career professionals. These structured programs sit alongside ongoing entry-level roles, creating continuous pathways for emerging talent to gain hands-on experience, develop market-ready skills, and build a strong platform for future success.
Bureau Veritas has a proud history of investing in early careers, with many of our current executive leaders beginning their journey with us as trainees.
Bureau Veritas is continually exploring new ways to serve society, support our communities, and lead the market across our diverse service offerings. To achieve this, we are committed to equipping our people with the skills and experience needed to embrace emerging opportunities.
We offer early‑career pathways across the core industries we serve — including Building & Infrastructure, Defence & Security, Metals & Minerals, Industrials, and Marine & Offshore. These programs help shape the next generation of specialists and leaders, ensuring our workforce remains innovative, future‑ready and aligned to the evolving needs of our clients and communities.
Senior Vice President, Pacific
My career with Bureau Veritas began as a pseudo traineeship, not as formal as the pathways available today, within the Industry business in Newcastle in 1997. This early opportunity laid the foundation for everything that followed. It opened the door to a global journey across the Asia Pacific and the Middle East, working in sectors ranging from mining and oil & gas to power and utilities as well manufacturing and construction. Along the way, my passion for research, innovation and lifelong learning led me to complete a PhD, an MBA and executive programs at Harvard Business School and Cambridge University, and to build a career focused on leading high‑performing businesses and improving operational, safety and environmental outcomes.
This is why early‑career pathways at Bureau Veritas are so important to me. The work we do for our clients demands fresh perspectives, technical curiosity and people who are eager to grow, and our programs offer exactly that. I’m a testament to where those beginnings can lead, and I’m proud that we continue to invest in the next generation who will support our clients, strengthen our services and help shape the future of Bureau Veritas.
