C.W. Pope and Associates, a Bureau Veritas subsidiary celebrated 50 years of service this March, 2019. Over 100 original C.W. Pope and Associates employees and Bureau Veritas staff celebrated the 50 years since establishment of the company in Newcastle.
C.W. Pope and Associates, a company started by Charles and Robin Pope, has a long and respected history servicing the Non-Destructive Testing market. They have long been a participant in our country’s mining, manufacturing and construction industries. Many of the company’s trainees remain active within those industries today – a testament to the impact the company has had within the market over the years.
Bureau Veritas acquired C.W. Pope and Associates in 2007. The unification of both companies’ visions has been seamless. We share a commitment to innovation, the novel application of NDT, and high quality service with our conformity and integrity assessment services. C.W. Pope has added an important and welcome element to Bureau Veritas’ presence in Australia. We thank them for the last 50 years, and look forward to the next 50, together.
