Bureau Veritas is proud to announce it is now a member of the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest initiative related to corporate social responsibility (CSR). With this move, the Group confirms its commitment to abiding by the Ten Principles of the voluntary initiative, which seeks to advance universal principles on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
Such commitments are a natural part of Bureau Veritas’ strategy of making CSR and sustainability central to its value-creation model.
Joining the United Nations Global Compact also represents a new step in the Group’s dedication to responsibility. Its existing efforts to Shape a Better Workplace, a Better Environment and Better Business Practices are fully aligned with the Global Compact’s Ten Principles and the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
