Day of Discovery: Newcastle

Dec. 17 2019

Last week, Bureau Veritas hosted our “Day of Discovery” in Singleton NSW, for clients across the region Last week, Bureau Veritas hosted our “Day of Discovery” in Singleton NSW, for clients across the region.

The day gave everyone an overview of Bureau Veritas’ structure across NSW to outline how we can better serve and provide our customers. We were able to give an in depth look at (POD) Increased Probability of Detection, various structural inspection applications, web based reporting (using our ARMour Online system) and our Inspection Management System. This system allows you to match people with the right competencies to specific tasks. We were further able to discuss Alternating Current Field Measurement and its applications for the mining sector, online condition monitoring systems for various areas and the quality assurance and control for welding work.

The highlight of the event however, was having Flyability demonstrate their Elios 2 drone on the day. The Elios 2 is a new and innovative indoor inspection drone. It is able to perform extremely precise inspections even in challenging environments, using new drone data capture capabilities. We were very pleased to be able to offer this to clients who thoroughly enjoyed the demonstration and we thank all those who attended on the day.

Keep your eye out for client events we will be running across a number of states in 2020, we’d be glad to see you there!
