Bureau Veritas was proud to support the 7th Annual Making Life Better Golf Challenge by sponsoring the 9th Hole and sending a team of four to hit the links at The Vines Resort and Country Club in Perth.
Over the last seven years the Making Life Better Golf Challenge has contributed almost $200,000 into the local community helping to “Make Life Better “ for individuals, families and smaller charity groups in Perth and it’s suburbs who are unable to receive support from any other sources.
100 players teed off for the event on Friday 26th November, including teams from GE Vetco, Chevron, Woodside and BHP.
Paul Fitzmaurice, Mark Jarman, Richard Lake and John Rucinski flew the Bureau Veritas flag and scored an impressive 4 under par.
The shot of the day belonged to John Rucinski with an amazing downhill putt at a difficult angle resulting in a birdie for the team.
Other numerous shots (both good & bad) were played but the main feature of the day was the constant ribbing amongst the team members!
A further $30,000 was raised this year and organisers are currently receiving applications from those in need.
